Meet the tutors
Hello everyone I am one of the tutors for sociology and look forward to teaching you all for the new academic year. In sociology we pride ourselves on encouraging students to be independent learners. You will be given a reading pack for all of the topics that we study, including education, culture and identity, media and crime and deviance.
This reading pack will enable you to get ahead start of each lesson so that you can discuss and debate some of the key issues in sociology with your peers. Sociology is an exciting field of study that focuses on analysing and explaining important matters in everyone’s lives, both on a local and global scale. The sociology team look forward to meeting you in September.
