Barnsley Stop Smoking Service

Barnsley Stop Smoking service offer free and friendly support for anyone who wishes to quit smoking. Did you know that our Old Mill Lane building and grounds are a voluntary smoke-free zone!

Barnsley Talking Therapies

Barnsley Talking Therapies is an NHS service which offers support for those who require some support with their mental health. They support with:
• Depression
• Low mood
• Sleep problems
• Anxiety
• Panic phobias
• OCD
• PTSD
Referrals for Barnsley Talking Therapies can be made directly through the their service online. Alternatively, you can make a referral through the Health and Wellbeing team. Barnsley Talking Therapies run their appointments in the Health and Wellbeing Centre.

Chilypep

The Children and Young Peoples Empowerment Project have developed a range of resources to help with mental health and self-care.

The Open Up Barnsley guide provides emotional wellbeing and mental health support for all children and young people in Barnsley. A version is also available for Sheffield.

We are in partnership with Rotherham and Barnsley Mind to provide therapeutic support and counselling for our students.
