A Level Year 12 Induction Day: Friday 28 August
We are pleased you have decided to join Barnsley Sixth Form College to start your A Level journey with us.

Time: 9:00am – 3:00pm
Students joining Barnsley Sixth Form College this September are invited to attend our Year 12 Induction Day.
The day is designed to help students prepare for the start of their studies, meet key staff and become familiar with College life before term begins.
Throughout the day, you will:
- Attend sessions for each of their three A Level subjects.
- Meet with your tutor.
- Take part in an induction session covering important information about College life.
- Receive guidance on how to use software called MyDay and Navigate.
- Submit the summer work you have completed in preparation for your courses.
Students will be invited to attend according to surname groups following enrolment. Further details about arrival times and arrangements will be shared directly with students.
