Induction to A Levels (first year students) - Friday 29 August

We are pleased you have decided to join Barnsley Sixth Form College to start your A Level journey with us.

You should have received your personalised enrolment letter with an appointment for either Thursday 21 August or Friday 22 August 2025.

You will be enrolled to your subjects and receive your student ID card.

The following week Friday 29 August will be our year 12 induction day.

If your surname begins with letters from A-J you must arrive at 9:00am.

If your surname begins with letters from K-Z you must arrive at 9:30am.

During the day you will:

1. Collect your timetable
2. Collect your lanyard (if applicable)
3. Have a chance to discover the different sites of the College and what they offer
4. Meet the Sixth Form Management Team
5. Meet your subject teacher
6. Meet your Personal Progress Mentor
7. There will be a one hour lunch break where you can either purchase food and drinks from our refectory or bring your own

Your day will start in the Atrium of the College. Bring a pen and some paper with you! We will see you there!
